Well tomorrows the big move... I have to rearrange the entire basement (which includes my room) so that the new carpet can be put in. Not looking forward to this one since the basement hasn't been moved since I moved in. But I am looking forward to getting new carpet and the removal process, not just because I'm a destructive dragon but this old stuff is so worn that the underlay and glue has turned to dust. Bonus!

*Whew* the other annoying thing... I have my zbrush assignment due next week too better get cracking on it. If I ever get back to dA concept and such will be posted. (Hey its a neat process)

*takes a deep breath* Well here I go...

After a 104 week absence from deviantArt I have finally mustered up the will to log back in and face the music. I'm still so nervous I feel like I abandoned it and my friends... so so I really deserve to be let back in?

I guess it also helps that with Iron-Gibbet doing the whole reveal that I should get off my tail and show the fans that I am still active.

Oh my did I fail to mention that little detail ^^ hahaha well ok I was actually never supposed to mention anything about it till the time came. But that is for another update, right I have to suck up and face my deviantArt demons...

Hardly! I enjoyed mucking around, watching Star Trek Remastered, playing some classic games *cough* Starfox and geting things ready, hey even snuck in a ride.

Now that things have cooled down (a little, still have that NAIT headache to worry over) and I'm not so busy I can finish off the post I did a few weeks ago... also it helps to have the writing bug.

Hell I'm just glad that I'm not working everyday like I was the last few weeks, that's the biggest problem I've had. And my manager has been getting well... demanding since he's been out of country. It'd be a hell of a lot better if he was actually here during the busy month but NO. *sigh* anyway no point in complaining just suck it up an deal. Now as I was going to say...

Email -
Let this be a lesson to all people... always check your email! When I disappeared I also let my inbox fill up and now I'm really paying for it. I have a backlog of 500 mails to go through. Some are critical and need attention some are just reminders. Still it's not looking pretty I might just have to spend and entire day sifting through them but if I can find one good one it'll make it all worthwhile.

I know I mentioned this last post but I wasn't sure if I was actually going to return but as it looks right now not only will I be reopening my orig account I'll be starting up 2! Count'em 2 new accounts. One for me NAIT and one shared account for *ahem* "the project". Hopefully I'll get'em setup before Uni starts in September.

*Secret* projects revealed! (I guess) -
Ok so they weren't so much secret as I just didn't
bother telling anyone other than the people involved and my friends. Oh and I'm down one project as I decided to bail on it.
First off yes HDR comic is still very much alive I've just been having a hell of a time fixing the site and hammering out details. Comic Genesis is being a real pain in the tail! I'm this close to blowing the thing out of the water and redoing the site...

2nd comic is a go! Now this one is all new! I'm doing a comic based off my RPG stuff my friends and I have been doing, so far we got the story and some major details, characters are coming along but it's like pulling teeth trying to get them to give me details. But all will be ready for whenever I start doing it. Now this one is different as it's not just me pulling all the strings, its me and 2 very good friends with characters provided by my other friends. So far we have a an albino Orc, a half dragon, a half gargoyle, and a few others but I won't spoil the details ^^

Week round-up -
Well its been a hell of a week just busy after busy first off Metropolis Toys, an awesome gaming store closed last Saturday I was there for the closing and I picked up some pretty cool swag lots of rare stuff and cool games all for 50 - 75% off also a few things for my bro and friends.

*whew* ok that's enough for now. I'm out, maybe more tonight if game night doesn't last too long... aww hell I'll be up till 3 am anyway. More later!

I know that I have been very quite over the past year and a bit, and it's time I start to let everyone know what I've been up too now that I'm out of my bad funk and ready to show my face again.

First off I'm not here to list off all my projects and such, that list is big enough to take up its own post, its more of a list of where I'm going to be most active and some of the newer places I've been and what I'm going to be up too.
I guess its also a kinda of personal checklist so I can keep on track and make sure I'm ready by September.

First - I'm back on LJ and I intend to keep on journaling here, it's kinda relaxing and a way to get stuff off my scales with out exploding at people.
I also have to get all caught up with theses piling notes... at last check I have 452 notes and messages. Yeesh this is starting to look like my dA page.

Second - VCL I know its not much more than a gallery but its the first place that accepted me for who I am and I'll never turn my back on it. I'll be uploading more of my stuff there and doing a complete reorganization of my space.

Third - DeviantArt Ok no matter how much I hate it there it's still somewhere that my friends congregate so I'll stick around... Plus <.< >.> I'll be opening a new account there for all my NAIT projects, ya know since some of them aren't really scally and or anthro and it would just look out of place having it all mixed up in my gallery. Now this is the big one I haven't looked at it oin over a yeah and half so I don't know what to expect when I sign in...

Fourth - FurAffinity I know I have neglected it and it's one of the better furry hangouts I'll be more active there than dA. If I ever sign in, agian I haven't checked this in well over 2 years so even more on the old surprise see how many messages I've missed.

*whew* Ok, ok so 'bout 2 weeks late but hey its still news.

Anyway like the title says I'm free! Of what you may ask...
Free of University Classes! They officially ended on Thurs April 30th And my last project was handed in on that day. I should be getting my marks later this month. And so far things are looking FANTASTIC! yeah I dropped the 'F-bomb' (inside joke ;P)

So that's one of the big "FREE" notices and now for the second one!

It was Free Comic Book Day on May 2nd! Hells yeah! I spent all morning hanging out Happy Harbor Vol 3 scooping up free swag and chatting with true comic artists (got some good tips and tricks) and watched the E-Ville Roller Derby Girls lots of fun. Even thou my fiend bailed on me, ok so she sounded like death! I'll let it slide.

So the reason this was late... <.< >.> I took a week off to recoup from 2 months straight uni work. I know I'm a bad dragon. HAHA! At least I got some solid time to play games and doodle. really therapeutic ^^

Now if you excuse me I have to go and get all caught up with some bidness, which will be explained in a later post.

Just a quick one right now I kinda want to get some thoughts down.

But yeah recently I've been feeling really depressed... and I can't really figure out why.
My buddy Darby (DCJ) said it's was because I'm overworked. I'm starting to think hes right, I've been going non stop on projects for a over a month. I haven't even had time to draw anything.

Whoa ok no! I'm not going to mention my lack of drawing I think that's also one of the problems.

*sigh* If I feel like it I'll expand but right now this draggy's got to bottle some stuff up inside...

And does it ever! I finally finished my Flash Final on Tues night after debugging and final testing. It was actually supposed to be due on Mon but Jim bumped it up two days so it gave me time to polish it up a bit more. But wow did it ever take a long time! If anyone ever says animation is easy knock'em upside the head! Cause it took me a month to animate and mine was only 1:30 min. And that was after cutting back the script and scenes and quality by almost half!

Overall I'm kinda disappointed with it, I just wish I was quicker (or better at drawing, NO ,NO SELF LOATHING new line begin anew!) so that it looked a little more styled and not so... well cheap...

I'm just glad its done... still there was that one sound error I couldn't fix, ok its not that big of one but the nagging felling that its still there just frosts my tail.

Anyway I don't think I ever mentioned what my final was! It is a short animation dealing with me, my scalie buddies and some dancin' tofu.. ok I didn't get the dancin' tofu animated in time but hell that's what "Beta" versions are for right?

I haven't posted it anywhere yet mostly because I haven't really shown my face anywhere else yet... I'm still MIA on Da, FA and VCL but at least I'm back talking to my friends via Steam / MSN.
On the bright side I've setup shop on a few other sites and will be returning to my stomping grounds shortly. But that info calls for another post maybe tomorrow.

Ooook slight tangent there. All that matters is 1 major headache down and only 3 to go!

As the title says I'm back after... a very long drought well more like a death.
this feels so weird to be back I, I don't know how to start.

I really wanted to make my return on my birthday (hatchday?) on the 27th but I got shanghaied by my friends after class / work and was treated to one of the best nights I have had in a very long time.

And I eternally thank them for it, it was kinda the final push I needed to get my life back online. More specifically it was the gift that my friend Chelsy gave me (a fan fuggin-tastic drawing, seriously! it kicks tail!) and something my friend Nicole said that really did it.
I guess they were sifting through my galleries (how they found it ??) for references and they happened to mention that my friends missed me...
Now I know that I've been complete jack ass by just disappearing and not letting my friends know what happened to me for over a year and I feel like I've let them down, and it really hurt me...
I really do care for my friends but I guess I wasn't ready to share what had happened to me last year.

I guess I just want to apologize for not returning the friendship that you guys have given me.
to everyone. I'm very truly sorry and I hope I can make it up to you guys somehow.

And it also looks like my best friend Saruuk found me on Steam ^^ oops sorry for not letting you know Sar :P

And now that things are stable (hectic but stable) I'm going to be here permanently, later tonight I'll be signing back into all my old accounts like DA FA, VCL and my MSN.

It feels good to be back ^^

I can't believe what happned today, its so good that I tempted classify it as the best day of the year so far! ^^

TOMMY TALLARICO!

Yeah that's right Tommy Tallarico one of the kings of Video Game Music just walks into the store with his friend. It was great! We talked for about 20 min about V.G.L. thats tomorrow (I'm so cheesed that I couldn't get tickets for it this year, I did go last year thou) which explains why he's in town. I loved it we talked about what was debuting at the concert and he loved looking around the store and you know enjoying himself.
I was the only one who recognized him! My bud / co-worker Dan didn't even know him!

but *whew* I'm still phazed that he came in! I'm totally going to expand on this later, right now supper ^^
